A neutral listening exercise for generated music

Post by LucasBeer »

I am editing a short podcast introduction with music underneath the first sentence. Listening to the cue separately does not tell me enough about the spoken transition. I want to avoid confusing a mixing problem with an export problem. My first comparison would keep the narration and music levels unchanged. The original export would stay in a separate file throughout the comparison. The narrator has a soft delivery, and the cue includes a sustained background layer. I would listen to the opening both on headphones and on a small speaker, noting whether individual words remain easy to follow at a comfortable volume. I came across suno fix while looking for possible approaches to this question. I have not made a processed comparison and do not know whether it would help. Any improvement would need to preserve the character of the transition. How would you organise a brief listening comparison for this kind of overlap?
